deSter partners with Lufthansa to launch new Allegris cabin interior

Allegris, one of the largest product updates in the airline’s history, includes a complete overhaul of Lufthansa’s cabin interiors, with redesigned seats and an enhanced service concept across all travel classes. As Lufthansa’s partner for all on-board equipment, deSter has played a key role in the design and development of a range of new comfort items and innovative service equipment to enhance the passenger experience and support Lufthansa’s crew to deliver outstanding service. 

 New comfort and crew & service items developed by deSter: 

 Passengers in all classes will be able to enjoy new pillowcases with enhanced comfort and durability. In First and Premium Economy Class, Allegris introduces cozy blankets that add an extra layer of warmth and luxury to each passenger’s travel experience. Business Class passengers can look forward to improved mattresses paired with reusable mattress bags, a sustainable alternative to disposable options. First Class also sees the introduction of new, elegant bedding for an improved sleep experience. 

 These new deSter comfort items will replace the current textiles on board all Lufthansa flights, reflecting the airline’s commitment to enhanced passenger comfort and sustainable practices. 

 In addition to comfort items, deSter has introduced several innovative crew and service equipment solutions. The Business Class Suites feature specially designed bottle holders providing convenient and secure storage. First Class washrooms will be equipped with refined, practical soap and amenity holders. A new fragrance concept with soaps, air fresheners and scented stones will enhance the cabin’s ambience, providing soothing scents that create a relaxing mood.
