Neu-Isenburg, Germany, 3 March 2025 – deSter, a leading designer and manufacturer of sustainable and innovative food packaging and serviceware concepts for the travel and foodservice industries, is pleased to announce the launch of the new range of onboard equipment for Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS).
As part of Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS)’ ambitious SWISS Senses product upgrade, the airline is enhancing the long-haul Economy Class experience with a focus on quality, aesthetics, and sustainability. In line with this vision, deSter has been chosen to develop the new reusable tableware set for SWISS’s revamped service concept.
The new tableware collection features two trays and two bowls in an elegant black design. This color choice not only aligns with SWISS’s sophisticated new cabin concept but also facilitates a closed-loop recycling process—allowing the tableware to be repurposed into new products at the end of its lifecycle. The set is made from durable material, ensuring long-lasting performance while supporting the airline’s commitment to reducing waste.
