As a Senior Product Designer at deSter, you’ll shape the future of premium tableware and dining experiences for leading airlines and quick-service-restaurant brands. You’ll manage your own projects from concept to delivery, present your ideas to international customers, and bring innovation to every detail. Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead design projects from initial concept through final realization, ensuring quality in aesthetics, functionality and brand alignment.
- Prepare compelling visualizations, prototypes, and presentations that tell the story behind your designs.
- Present concepts and finished designs to international clients and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them through design possibilities and solutions.
- Travel occasionally to meet clients and support international projects (approx. 10%).
- Collaborate closely with the other designers, sales, product management, engineering, and external partners.
- Stay up to date with design trends, materials, and technologies to keep our developments relevant.
- Contribute to the team’s vision for innovation and design, sharing ideas and inspiring others.
- · Understand the competitive landscape and the market dynamics.
- Manage deadlines and project schedules. Setting priorities and operating within specific deadlines and requirements is critical.

Core Competencies and Requirements
Education
- Bachelor or Master degree in product design, industrial design or similar.
- Additional degrees could be a bonus.
Work Experience
- Matter expert in design, preferably with international experience.
- 5+ years of experience within a design house, agency or product design department.
Technical Skills
Certifcation, licenses and registration.
- PC or Mac knowledge of Microsoft Office
- 3D modeling software knowledge (preferably Siemens NX)
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite software (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign)
- Good visualization techniques (sketching, rendering, prototyping)

You’ll report into the Product Design Director and will be part of a team of 6 product designers & 6 graphic designers which are spread across 2 locations (Hoogstraten(BE) & Frankfurt(GER)).
